The five-month-long “Battle of the Payroll Bands” came to a quick conclusion today during the Closing General Session. The Iconics came out victorious, winning 90.1% of the audience votes, leaving the Paymaniacs in the dust.

Melinee Cody, CPP, and Gary Lynch, CPP, were honored Friday afternoon with Special Recognition Awards for their long and varied service to the APA.

The APA this afternoon honored Cathy Beyda, Esq., with its Special Friend Award for her work as an advocate for payroll professionals and their employers with regard to their ability to pay employees electronically.
