On March 9, James Medlock, CPP, Payroll Compliance Educator, Medlock & Associates, and Mark Thornton, CPA, CPP, Payroll Tax Supervisor at Southern Co., will present “Data Analytics: The Collision of Payroll Data and Reports.” Analytics are the key to the success of 21st century payroll professionals. Learn how analytics can be used to tell a successful payroll story; what payroll and non-payroll related data is required; and how analytical tools can be used to improve a payroll department’s effectiveness.
On April 13, Dr. Kilolo Kijakazi, Acting Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (SSA), will present “Leadership Perspectives: Modernizing Policies and Procedures to Improve Business Services.” Attendees will learn what SSA is doing to reach its goals; more about the SSA’s modernization project and payroll engagement; and services and resources available to payroll professionals.
Attendees who register between March 4 and April 11 will only be able to attend the April 13 bonus event. The bonus events will not be available on demand.

This year’s four-day program will offer more than 80 educational workshops. Attendees will learn about recent legislative and regulatory developments affecting payroll and accounts payable, including recent IRS guidance and changes affecting global payroll. Workshops will be offered in seven different educational tracks, including late-breaking legislative and regulatory updates, benefits and compensation; and payroll management and operations. Attendees can earn up to 19 RCHs for attending Congress, plus an additional 2 RCHs for attending both bonus events and 14 RCHs for attending Virtual Congress (for a total of up to 35 RCHs).
