On December 9, the New York City Office of Child Support Services and the New York State Division of Child Support Services are co-sponsoring the NYC Child Support Program Employer Conference. The half-day virtual conference will provide payroll professionals and employers with tools they need to comply with New York child support laws.
The conference will cover topics including new hire reporting, income withholding orders (IWOs), medical support orders, and more. In addition to the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of experts to address their specific needs. Alice Jacobsohn, Esq., Director of Government Relations at PayrollOrg, will be one of the presenters.
Employers are vital partners to New York City’s child support program. Employers typically remit more than $450 million per year to New York City families by income withholding.
