Some of the major changes included in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (Pub. 115-97), such as those affecting moving expenses and qualified bicycle commuting reimbursement, will affect the 22 states following the current version of the Internal Revenue Code. States could consider decoupling from certain federal law provisions.
