Congress looks a bit different this year, doesn’t it?

During the Friday workshop “What Does the 2020 Form W-4 Mean to Payroll and Employees?” two well-known experts – both recently retired from APA – helped attendees prepare for major changes expected in the 2020 Form W-4.

More than a third of the APA’s staff members have worked for the Association for at least 10 years, so it’s no surprise that 12 employees are being honored at this year’s 37th Annual Congress for their longevity.

Each year, the APA’s Government Relations Division honors a government employee with the Government Partner Award for that person’s work with the APA to help payroll professionals. This year, IRS Senior Tax Analyst Joe Guillen fills the bill.

Susan Darring, CPP, received the APA’s Board of Directors Award Tuesday and also became the first lifetime national member of the APA for her more than three decades of service to the Association.
