The APA would like to say thank you to Hope Williams, CPP, a Director of Payroll Training at the APA, who retired from the Association after 10 years. She was hired by the APA in 2009 as a Director of Payroll Training.
After 25½ years, Mike O’Toole, Esq., Senior Director of Publications, Education, and Government Relations for the APA, retired from the APA at the end of 2018. At the APA’s 37th Annual Congress in Long Beach, Mike was awarded a crystal boot for his service for the last quarter century.
More than a third of the APA’s staff members have worked for the Association for at least 10 years, so it’s no surprise that 12 employees are being honored at this year’s 37th Annual Congress for their longevity.
The APA grants Meritorious Service Awards to members who contribute to the payroll profession by volunteering and serving on committees and/or at the local chapter level. During Friday’s Awards Luncheon, 10 members received the award:
