Congress Helps Payroll Pros Keep Their Competitive Edge
It’s important to keep your edge as a professional in any industry. When the competition is strong, how will you stand out from the crowd?
One of the most essential ways to keep your skills sharp in the workplace is by taking advantage of as many educational opportunities as possible. For payroll professionals, that’s where an event like the APA’s 37th Annual Congress comes into play.
This year’s conference, “The Payroll Edge,” is the perfect way for payroll pros from across the country to come together to invest in their careers and see firsthand the return on that investment, which will benefit their departments and organizations.
“Whether you are looking to explore the future of payroll, learn a new skill, or strengthen your current knowledge, the APA has the resources to help you keep your edge,” said Dan Maddux, APA Executive Director. “We’re positive that the 2019 Congress this week will keep you on the edge of your technical knowledge and have you at the top of your game in no time.”
During Congress this week, May 14-18 at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, thousands of payroll professionals will attend a series of educational workshops, visit the world’s largest payroll Expo, and have the chance to network with other payroll leaders in a number of different industries. Payroll professionals can earn up to 25.5 RCHs and 2.5 CEUs for attending.
APA members can trust that this year’s Annual Congress will keep them on track to grasp that competitive edge they will need as the payroll industry moves further into the 21st century.
