Civillico Teaches Congress Attendees ‘The Power of the Pivot’
Comedian, host, entertainer, motivational speaker, and philanthropist Jeff Civillico took the stage as the keynote speaker during Friday’s Closing General Session. And, boy, did he put on a show!
Along with providing “infotainment” throughout the week as the 37th Annual Congress emcee, Civillico, who performs a show on the Las Vegas Strip, astonished attendees with his unique performances that featured juggling, interactive comedy, and other action-packed stunts. During his presentation, “The Power of the Pivot,” Civillico talked about the actions people need to take to improve themselves in their career fields. These include “pivots”—small changes they can make while staying grounded in who they are.
At the end of the presentation, the APA presented Civillico, who spent his birthday at Congress, with a special gift—a birthday cake. With one mighty huff and a puff, Civillico blew out the candles to cheers from the crowd. For a split second, attendees probably thought he would do one of his famous magic tricks with fire.
