For 2022, the West Virginia unemployment insurance (UI) taxable wage base is reduced to $9,000 from $12,000 due to the state’s UI Trust Fund balance being above $200 million as of February 15. Employers with questions can email WorkForce West Virginia at uctaxunit@wv.gov.
