To participate, you must qualify as a [**responsible entity officer (REO)**](https://www.ssa.gov/employer/reovolunteers.htm) for the entity you are registering for. SSA would like feedback on a new application that will allow an REO to delegate and authorize who can submit wage reports for its company via Business Services Online (BSO). ### **Who Is an REO?** SSA defines an REO as an individual who is authorized to execute agreements on behalf of the entity that are legally binding and enforceable. REO examples include: a chief executive officer (CEO); a director or a senior manager; a board of director or authorized board member; an employee with power of attorney; the owner of an LLC; a general or limited partner of a partnership; a business owner (sole proprietorship); or an individual who has control over a church’s funds or assets. ### **How to Volunteer** To participate, send an email to [**BSOParticipants@ssa.gov**](mailto:BSOParticipants@ssa.gov) with “Invitation to participate in BSO study” in the subject line. Include your name and your role in the company as well as a valid email and telephone number in the message. SSA will notify you if you are selected.
