Payroll Leaders Conference Offers Education, Leadership Programs to Help Progress Your Career

After an unprecedented year of digital-exclusive content and education, the APA is happy to announce the Payroll Leaders Conference (PLC) is returning to an in-person, live venue September 13-15, in Las Vegas.

PLC presents next-generation training through four transformational certificate programs that are ideal for payroll professionals who want to increase their leadership skills, or for those who aspire for leadership positions within their organizations. The conference will also announce this year’s Prism Awards, which recognize payroll and shared services departments exhibiting best practices in management, processes, technology, and more.

PLC will be hosted at the APA’s MEET Las Vegas in downtown Las Vegas and is being sponsored by DailyPay

Choose From Four Certificate Programs

Attendees can choose from one of four certificate programs to further their education and training:

  1. Payroll OMG—Optimization, Management, and Growth—This program helps pros at every level in every department learn how to produce a perfect paycheck, including how to reduce cost, eliminate waste, and create a highly effective workforce.
  2. Strategic Leadership Certificate Program—Unleash your full potential! This unique program focuses on many qualities of effective leaders including awareness of self and others, effective communication, and relationship building.
  3. Managing Payroll Operations Across the Globe—Explore how people, processes, and technology interconnect as you lead a global payroll operation delivering timely payments and ensuring taxation and other compliance requirements are met.
  4. NEW! Government/Public Sector Payroll Certificate Program—Take a deep dive into all the unique issues confronted by government and public sector payroll pros. This certificate program explores the complex section 218 taxation issues regarding social security and Medicare tax, government sector accounting and auditing, and how to manage today’s complex government/public sector payrolls at all levels.

Attendees can earn up to 15 RCHs, 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), or 17.5 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits when attending this course. No prerequisites or advance preparation is required.
