The APA’s Virtual Capital Summit will put attendees on the leading edge of payroll compliance from the comfort of home in a live streaming event April 22-24. Capital Summit brings Washington, D.C., policymakers and insiders together with payroll professionals eager to learn the latest in legislative and regulatory issues that impact payroll operations. All the sessions will be live, not recorded, and one additional session has been added to the lineup—Payments in a Pandemic.
Virtual Capital Summit, sponsored by DailyPay, will feature nine sessions presented over three days (see the detailed Agenda below). Classes will be presented in three time blocks each day: 11 a.m.-12 p.m.; 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m.; and 3 p.m.-4 p.m. All times are listed in Eastern time.
New Session on Pandemics
The new session, Payments in a Pandemic, will cover the challenges faced delivering checks to a dispersed workforce, cash as a disease vector, and the promotion of electronic payment options. The speaker will draw on experiences from COVID-19, Hurricane Katrina, and the H1N1 pandemic and also will address the emergency powers governors have to make decisions affecting how employers pay employees.
Register now to attend Virtual Capital Summit. Those who register will also be able to watch the on demand version, available starting April 25. The on-demand version will be available for 90 days thereafter.
Attendees can earn up to 10.5 RCHs, 10.5 CPE credits (CPE credits are not available for the on-demand version), or 1.05 CEUs by attending this conference.
