When the calendar flips to October and the weather becomes cooler, college football fans turn their eyes to games such as Florida-LSU, Texas-Oklahoma, and Notre Dame-Michigan. But college payroll professionals look to the APA’s Educational Institutions Payroll Conference (EIPC), where they can meet up with colleagues from across the country who share in their unique celebrations and challenges.
This year’s 33rd Annual EIPC is slated for October 27-30 at Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida. The conference zeroes in on compliance and operational issues impacting payroll professionals who work in higher education.
“The EIPC is excellent,” said Robin Davis, CPP, Associate Controller of Payroll and Tax at the University of South Florida and a 2018 EIPC attendee. “It is on a much smaller scale than the APA’s Annual Congress, but this is specifically aimed and tailored to the higher ed. space, which is its own niche and has its own issues that are very specific to that industry.”
