Both Congress Xstream and Virtual Congress Feature COVID-19 Sessions

Both Congress Xstream: An Online Conference & Expo, June 2-5, and Virtual Congress & Expo, June 24-25, will provide attendees with the information they need to stay in compliance with new payroll requirements imposed in response to COVID-19. Both conferences are available on demand after the live dates.

While many sessions will touch upon the impact of the coronavirus on payroll, the COVID-19 sessions will specifically discuss the payroll-related provisions of recently enacted laws and the subsequent regulations and agency guidance. One session at Congress Xstream will provide an introduction to the new requirements as part of a broader presentation on payroll changes this year, and a Virtual Congress session is dedicated entirely to COVID-19 issues for a more in-depth discussion. Here are the details of those sessions.

Tuesday, June 2, 12:30-1:30 p.m. EDT

The educational session, Payroll Changes in 2020 and Beyond, will provide an overview of some of the major compliance issues facing payroll in 2020, including a brief overview of new COVID-19-related requirements.

Thursday, June 25, 4:30-6:00 p.m. EDT

The educational session, Complying With Coronavirus-Related Payroll Changes, will explain specific compliance requirements of COVID-19 legislation and related guidance to implement that legislation.

Register for Congress Xstream to receive world class payroll education and much more. Access to Virtual Congress & Expo is included with a Congress Xstream registration. On-demand access to all 28 educational workshops, four general sessions, two industry expert presentations, a special IRS presentation, and more is available until September 5, 2020.

There is also an option to register for Virtual Congress & Expo separately. On-demand access to the 12 educational workshops, three general sessions, and a Thought Leadership session is available through September 25, 2020.
