Written by Lia Coniglio, Esq. | Feb 20, 2020 7:23:16 PM

Effective for wages paid on or after March 1, 2020, the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) has issued revised withholding tables and a revised withholding formula. There are also revised low income withholding tables and withholding instructions for employers.

According to the DFA, employees may see an increase in the amount of their paychecks due to the changes to the withholding tables. Employee paychecks may increase, while annual personal income tax refunds may decrease as an offset. Employees may wish to review their Form AR4EC, Employee’s Withholding Exemption Certificate [DFA, News Release, 2-14-20].
