From April 6-29, APA’s Payroll Issues for Multi-State Employers course will be offered in various ways. This course provides the information necessary to maintain compliance in every state in which you play employees.
Take the course as interactive virtual webinar in a classroom setting (similar to a one-day live in-person class) on any of these dates: April 6, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16. The classes run from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in different time zones. From April 20-29, the course is offered as a webinar in four segments. If you need more flexibility with dates, you can take the webinar on demand beginning on May 4.
The course covers state income tax withholding, residency determinations, fringe benefits issues, child support, and much more. The course materials include a section detailing the changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to paid sick leave, paid family leave, predicative scheduling requirements, unemployment insurance tax, creditor garnishments, and withholding tax and nexus.
