APA Special Report Gives Insider Look Into Federal Agency Q&As—Part 2

Special Report: Panel Answers Questions at Payroll Congress in the August issue of Payroll Currently (Issue 8, Vol. 30) offers the second part of an insider look at how federal agency executives answered questions submitted by participants at APA and GPMI’s Payroll Congress at the Forum on Federal Payroll Issues sessions on May 11.

From May 10-13, APA and GPMI held the Payroll Congress Convention and Expo in Las Vegas. For 40 years, the Payroll Congress has been the payroll profession’s premier educational event and an eagerly awaited training and networking opportunity for APA members, their colleagues, and allied professionals in accounts payable, finance, HR, and benefits.

Compliance News

The August issue’s Special Report features answers to questions presented to the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE). In the July issue, IRS and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services answered questions.

Topics in August include: multiple federal employer identification numbers; how to correct social security numbers; retroactive pay for an overtime miscalculation; and how to use OCSE’s Communication Center.
