APA Extends Spring 2020 Exam Window Through August 29

We have good news! The APA has extended the Spring 2020 exam window through August 29, 2020. FPC and CPP exams administered through August 29, 2020, will feature questions based on federal laws and regulations in effect as of January 1, 2019.

Exam registration will be open through August 28, 2020.
FPC and CPP exams will be administered through August 29, 2020.

You should schedule your exam through your online APA Certification Dashboard. The system will only allow you to book an appointment on dates that will be available for testing. Candidates can schedule their exam for appointments if local conditions allow. Availability may be very limited at this time but check back regularly for updated availability.

FPC/CPP examination fee and application information:

  • Verify the status of your exam application on the Certification Dashboard.
    • You must have an approved FPC or CPP examination application to test.
  • Pay the examination fee online.
    • If you have already paid the exam fees, login to your Certification Dashboard to schedule online.
    • If you requested a refund and that refund has been processed, you will need to pay the examination fee online.

All exam purchases are good for one full year, so if your exam appointment is canceled, you may simply reschedule for a later test date. Example: If you purchased the exam on March 1, 2020, you have until March 1, 2021 to complete the exam.

The APA will automatically extend any already paid but expired exam authorizations to allow affected candidates to test through August 29, 2020.
