Welcome to the 44th Annual Payroll Congress in Nashville
I’m honored to join you at PayrollOrg’s Annual Payroll Congress. This is the 40th time I have attended! As the go-to event for payroll professionals from around the world, Payroll Congress is the place to solve your payroll puzzles. You will have non-stop activities over four days, where you will learn from workshops, general sessions, exhibitors, and your fellow participants, as well as discover tools that will enhance, advance, and solve the payroll issues you face. Be sure to sit beside someone new, introduce yourself, and expand your professional network. The connections you make will help you solve your next payroll puzzle.
At the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, your first adventure might be to navigate the maze from your room to the convention center! Don’t miss the keynote and industry expert speakers' presentations during the general sessions—these are prime opportunities to enhance your professional development. The general sessions offer a variety of topics that will encourage, challenge, and energize you.
Whether you are new to payroll, a veteran attending your first Payroll Congress, or a professional who has attended many Congresses, the opportunities at Payroll Congress for a total payroll renovation that can solve your puzzles are limitless. Industry experts will provide educational information in more than 60 new workshops, among the over 100 workshops across eight educational tracks, during 17 sessions. Be sure to check out the many new workshops, including Beyond Automation: How AI is Redefining the Future of Global Payroll.
The Leadership Excellence Series features six sessions covering multi-generational environments, leadership, and ethics. You can attend one or all of these invigorating sessions to help you grow as a leader.
Download the Payroll Congress 2026 app to view your schedule for upcoming workshops, general sessions, and demonstrations in the Expo, as well as get important conference updates. Connect with fellow payroll professionals at Payroll Congress using #paycon on social media.
Explore the globe’s largest payroll industry Expo to discover new products, services, and technologies that will solve your payroll puzzles by transforming your payroll processes through best practices. Make sure you stop at the PayrollOrg booth to learn about certification and PayrollOrg’s helpful publications and courses.
If you received a Citation of Merit this year for participation on a PayrollOrg board, committee, or task force, don’t miss the Citation of Merit Photo Station happening in the Expo on Thursday from 12:30 p.m.–2:00 p.m. to have a photo with PayrollOrg’s Executive Director, Dan Maddux, and me.
Stay ahead of the curve by reading the award-winning Congress Today magazine, available online and in print on site on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It provides in-depth articles that keep you up to date with new content every day throughout the week. Don’t forget to take copies home to share highlights and photos with your colleagues.
As President of PayrollOrg, I look forward to meeting you at Payroll Congress, where we will create, connect, and collaborate to unravel the complexities of payroll. Please feel free to stop and introduce yourself anytime you see me!
