A trusted leader not only in payroll, but also in technology and business strategy, O’Callaghan is known for creating practical, scalable solutions. Formerly Director of Global Payroll Presales Delivery at Deel, she played a key role in developing in-house payroll infrastructure to better support operations across more than 50 countries. By bringing real-world payroll experience into product development and compliance design, she has helped reduce manual work, speed up processing times, and improve accuracy in global compliance.

“This award is not won alone,” she wrote. “It is won through every conversation, every implementation, every client who trusted me with something as important as paying their people. It belongs to every person who took the time to vote, to champion this industry, and to believe that what we do genuinely matters.”

O’Callaghan is a strong advocate for raising professional standards. She actively promotes open discovery, realistic planning, and effective collaboration across teams. Through readiness assessments, governance structures, and careful data validation, she has lowered implementation risk and helped build payroll operations that are both resilient and scalable.

About the Global Payroll Titan Award

The Global Payroll Titan Award program recognizes and celebrates exceptional individuals whose expertise, innovation, and leadership strengthen the global payroll profession and drive meaningful impact within their organizations.

From 5 February–17 March 2026, payroll professionals worldwide had the chance to nominate their choice for PayrollOrg’s Global Payroll Titan. Nominees for consideration must have actively worked in the global payroll industry and have a minimum of three years of payroll processing experience. All eligible nominees were then channeled to the “People’s Choice” public voting portion of the program, followed by an anonymous peer review of nominees by a panel of global payroll professionals, concluding the decision-making process.
