Tim Kelsey, FCIPP, AIPA, the Managing Director of Kelsey’s Payroll Services in the United Kingdom and a giant in the world of global payroll, was honored today during the 42nd Annual Payroll Congress with PayrollOrg’s Special Friend Award.

“I am absolutely bowled over,” he said, after learning of the award.

Over the years, Kelsey has earned recognition for being a gifted and eloquent speaker and a valuable source of knowledge to PayrollOrg members and the global payroll community.

He has taught a wide range of PayrollOrg educational courses, mostly in webinar format, and has also been a popular in-person speaker for Payroll Congress. Kelsey has also provided in-person training, with a focus on international payroll, to payroll professionals in Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, and New York.

He is also a familiar voice to listeners of PayrollOrg’s PayTalk Podcast®, where he shares his expertise on global payroll. He has frequently contributed global payroll articles to PayrollOrg’s online publication, Global Payroll e-magazine, and is a member of PayrollOrg’s Global Payroll Editorial Advisory Board.

Kelsey brings a positive attitude to tackle every challenge, and he is always willing to lend his unwavering support to other payroll professionals within PayrollOrg. With more than 30 years of professional experience under his belt, he is considered one of the payroll profession’s most knowledgeable experts.

“As payroll professionals, we are very used to hiding in the wings of business whilst others win the plaudits. We really don’t expect or seek any acknowledgement of what we do,” Kelsey said. “I’ve always enjoyed ‘hiding at the back’ and savouring the satisfaction of a job well done without a trumpet being blown. I am humbled and very honoured to be receiving this award.”
