‘Say What?’ Presentation Focuses on Cross-Cultural Communication
Good communication is crucial in any business endeavor, especially when it crosses cultural lines.
Two experts in cross-cultural communications—Jason Low, C.P.S., and Tim Kelsey, MCIPP, AIPA—shared their first-hand experiences Thursday in the General Session Special Presentation, “Say What? Communicating Around the World.”
Low, head of The Association for Payroll Specialists in Australia, and Kelsey, Owner of Kelsey Payroll Services in the United Kingdom, explained the linguistic and behavioral styles to be aware of when payroll professionals communicate with people from other cultures.
