# Raguz Takes Reins as APA President

John Raguz, CPP, began his year as the American Payroll Association’s (APA) President by taking the oath of office during the Annual Business Meeting this morning.

The Payroll Manager for Progressive Insurance and longtime APA member told [PAYTECH](http://pubs.royle.com/publication/?i=488175&ver=html5&p=18) he is humbled to become the Association’s newest President and will focus his term on getting members involved.

He will be a familiar face throughout the week of Congress as leader of the APA’s “Agents of Payroll.”
