The 43rd Annual Payroll Congress has come and gone, but you can continue to level up your payroll knowledge and skills with PayrollOrg’s Virtual Congress & Expo 2025.

On July 9-10, you can join payroll professionals from around the globe at Virtual Congress, a fully online experience offering attendees a variety of informative, educational workshops, as well as opportunities to network with fellow payroll professionals, industry experts, and service providers.

“Wow!” said Laurie Jensen, CPP, Chief Financial Officer at Conveyors & Equipment, Inc. “Virtual Congress 2024 offered informative information and motivational speakers. I am thankful for the continued education.”

This year’s Virtual Congress & Expo will offer the following:

  • Various educational workshops, offered both live and on demand
  • A full-service Expo to visit where you can learn about the latest products and service solutions available with exclusive payroll vendors like ADP and rapid!
  • Up to 14 RCHs for attending the live and on-demand sessions
  • A Networking Lounge with multiple chat boards to network with peers
  • A Resource Center to gather important event materials and news
  • Profile pages for all participants to see (and network with) who is attending

Wide Array of Virtual Education

Throughout the two days of Virtual Congress, attendees will have the opportunity to attend 12 educational workshops, including two Thought Leadership sessions and two General Sessions with keynote speakers. With a wide range of topics to explore, any professional involved in payroll, accounts payable, human resources, benefits, or technology will benefit from attending the Virtual Congress & Expo 2025.

“I love the opportunity to gain knowledge from a source I can trust and to gain insight from other payroll professionals,” said Andrea Mayhew, CPP, VP of Payroll—NE Region at Vensure Employer Services.

Some of the 2025 Virtual Congress workshops will include the following:

  • Essential Guide to Paid Leave Mandates
  • Conquering Payroll Year-End Reporting for a Global Workforce
  • From Bland to Brilliant Presentations: Capture Attention, Deliver Clarity, and Make Payroll Matter
  • Maximizing the Global Payroll Team Engagement
  • Creating Cost Savings and Efficiency in the Payroll Department

General Sessions

The Opening General Session keynote speaker, sponsored by rapid!, will be Adam “Smiley” Poswolsky, a workplace belonging expert, thought leader, and bestselling author of four books. You may have seen Smiley’s engaging Opening General Session at Payroll Congress in Orlando where he discussed the importance of connection in the workplace. For Virtual Congress, Smiley will be delivering an apropos presentation entitled, “Making Hybrid Work Work: Building a People-First Hybrid Culture.”

Also, during the Opening General session, the exciting presentation of PayrollOrg’s Government Partner Award and the Meritorious Service Awards will happen as well as an industry expert presentation by Kelli Gibson, Vice President, Payroll Governance, at Marriott International.

The Closing General Session keynote speaker will be Raven Solomon, a global inclusion futurist and thought leader. Her mission is to prepare today’s generation of leaders and teams for the diversity of tomorrow through “Future-Ready Inclusion™.” She will be delivering a presentation entitled “Closing the Generational Gap: Unifying Generations to Build Future-Ready Teams and Organizations,” a timely topic in today’s ever evolving workplace.
