# PayrollOrg Celebrates Its Volunteers With Citations of Merit

PayrollOrg volunteers are the unsung heroes of payroll. PayrollOrg recognizes the hard work and dedication each of them gave to the organization over the last year.

Here is the list of the [**2025 Citation of Merit Recipients**](https://ebiz.payroll.org/ebusiness/HoF/citation-of-merit).

“Our volunteers have always been an incredibly important part of the PayrollOrg family and help us in our mission to continue to serve as the nation’s leader in payroll education, publications, and training,” said Dan Maddux, PayrollOrg Executive Director. “Thank you for your contributions to our organization and for providing your knowledge and experience year around.”

PayrollOrg members can [**volunteer**](https://payroll.org/membership/about-us/committees) in various ways, including committees, boards, advisory groups, and task forces. Available volunteer positions within PayrollOrg include serving on the Board of Directors, National Speakers Bureau, Board of Contributing Writers, and more.
