When the APA was forced to pivot from its annual in-person Payroll Congress to the virtual offering Congress Xstream in 2020 (and stayed with the online event this year), Intrado Digital Media’s Jeff Heisler was there every step of the way.
His vision and leadership have allowed APA and other associations to have the online platform to produce conferences and reach their audiences in new, innovative ways.
For his efforts, the Ohio-based Director of Sales is this year’s recipient of the 2021 APA Special Friend Award.
“From a sales professional perspective, APA and GPMI have had a huge impact on my career,” Heisler said in accepting the award. “You have taught me the importance of a strategic partnership, how you treat one another, push one another to the next level, and its helped me in several other relationships as well.”
He thanked APA staff, Congress Xstream attendees, and the Intrado services and solutions team.
Heisler has partnered with the APA for more than eight years with its other programs such as webinars, virtual courses and events, and Virtual Congress.
He not only maintained but grew a relationship with the APA and ensured all resources were available for Congress Xstream and Virtual Congress to succeed.
