Gaylord National Offers a Luxurious Stay on D.C.’s Doorstep
As the site of this week’s 36th Annual Congress, the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center offers plenty for you to do in between the educational workshops, Expo visits, and networking with your peers.
The Gaylord National opened its doors April 1, 2008, and is considered a milestone in the development of National Harbor. It is the largest hotel in the Washington, D.C., area and the largest non-gaming hotel and convention center on the East Coast. The resort has more than 2,000 rooms and a 19-foot glass atrium that encloses an indoor marketplace and dining area overlooking the Potomac River. Other amenities include the Relâche Spa & Salon, an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, and a fitness center.
The convention center annually hosts the Scripps National Spelling Bee and the Music and Gaming Festival (MAGFest) and has in the past hosted the 2011 Republican National Committee Winter Meeting and the 2014 Major League Baseball Winter Meetings.
Check out what the hotel has to offer in between all of this week’s education!
