During Thursday’s General Session, Josh Bersin pondered “The Future of Work and Pay: How Will Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Predictive Analytics Change Your World?”
Bersin, Principal and Founder of Bersin, Deloitte Consulting, LLP, discussed today’s profound evolution in human resources technology and what it will mean for HR and payroll professionals.
He presented his research on the notion that many companies are forging toward innovation.
“The HR technology marketplace is going through a massive reinvention this year,” Bersin said before Congress attendees. “This is a wonderful time to be rethinking your HR platform strategies to make your entire organization more productive and engaged for the years ahead.”
Joining Bersin on stage were guest speakers Don Weinstein, Chief Strategy Officer for ADP, and Martin Hartshorne, Vice President of Products for Ultimate Software.
Bersin has advised some of the largest and well-known companies on the planet, and has been featured in such media outlets as Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, BBC Radio, and National Public Radio.
Congress attendee Michelle Steiner, Director of Client Business Solutions at Unicorn HRO, said she was very intrigued by Bersin's discussion of instant payroll.
“I think the features of the technology, the automated notifications, for example, will create a positive experience for employees," she said.
Sandy Perez, CPP, Payroll Manager, MAPEI Corporation, added: “I appreciated his comments about all the data that we compile. We have all this data at our fingertips, and we could be using it more than we do.”
