The 42nd Annual Payroll Congress may be over, but your “Total Payroll Transformation” doesn’t have to end just yet. Continue your journey with PayrollOrg’s Virtual Congress & Expo 2024, which takes place July 10-11.

Virtual Congress is an online experience offering a variety of educational workshops and networking opportunities with fellow payroll professionals, industry experts, and service providers.

“Virtual Congress is always fun and interactive. It provides great education and networking for our profession," says Link Almon, CPP, Vice President of Payroll at Shearwater Health.

This year’s Virtual Congress & Expo includes the following:

  • 12 educational workshops, both live and on demand

  • A full-service Expo Hall where you can visit with payroll vendors and learn about their latest products

  • Up to 14 RCHs for attending live and on-demand sessions

  • A Networking Lounge to engage with fellow attendees

Unique Virtual Education

With 12 unique workshops to choose from throughout the two days of Virtual Congress, there will surely be something for every payroll professional and their area of interest.

“I loved the sessions on taxes and unions,” explained 2023 attendee Taylor Anderson, CPP, Director of Operations at Exodus HR Group, “I found those sessions the most useful in my daily job, and I had several key takeaways to help me day to day."

2024 Virtual Congress workshops will include the following:

  • “Global Payroll Transformation”

  • “The Best Practices to Prevent Fraud”

  • “Strategic Payroll: Transformation for Success”

  • “Using Analytics With Every Payroll Process”

There will also be two General Session keynote speakers:

  1. Shawn Kanungo, presenting “Bold Ones—How to Innovate and Disrupt Ourselves,” sponsored by rapid! In this session, Kanungo will provide actionable techniques individuals can use to make themselves more dynamic in the workplace by evolving alongside innovations.

  2. Garth Sheriff, presenting “Transformative Technologies and Their Impact on the Workplace.” Sheriff will examine how the workplace is impacted by three transformative technologies in our society: artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and cryptocurrency and the blockchain.

During the first day, PayrollOrg will present the Government Partner Award and Meritorious Service Awards, as well as an interview with the 2023 Payroll Woman of the Year Marcela McCarthy, CPP, and the 2023 Payroll Man of the Year Michael Schoelles, CPP.

The second day will feature an industry expert presentation by Cari Breitinger, CPP, Director of HRIS and Payroll, North America, at BELFOR.

Patricia Fripp, CSP, CPAE, will also be a special guest speaker at Virtual Congress. A motivational speaker, trainer, coach, and consultant, Fripp’s presentations are consistently inspiring and popular among attendees. Her workshop, "Clear, Concise Communication: Words to Use and Lose to Get Ahead,” was the most viewed session of PayrollOrg’s 2023 Virtual Congress.

On-demand access to Virtual Congress & Expo 2024 will be available until October 11. If you paid for an All-Access Pass for Payroll Congress 2024, then Virtual Congress & Expo is included.
