Connections, Conversations, and Innovation: Inside the Expo Hall at Payroll Congress

The buzz inside the Expo Hall at the 43rd Annual Payroll Congress was electric, as attendees explored cutting-edge solutions, exchanged ideas, and built connections with industry-leading vendors. With more than 75 exhibitors in attendance, the space served as a vibrant hub for learning, discovery, and collaboration.
“The payroll community is a huge source of support for us,” said Nicole Beal, VP of Marketing at Chime, one of the event sponsors. “The conversations here have been incredible—we’re really excited to be here.”
That sentiment echoed throughout the hall, where legacy companies like Strada Global used the event to showcase global growth. “It’s a great opportunity to get in front of the payroll decision-makers that make a difference to our business,” said Don Harpe, VP Sales Leader.
Attendees valued the hance to engage with vendors directly. “Having a face-to-face conversation is invaluable,” said PAYO member Brian Beth, CPP, of Kenosha County. “It’s much easier to have a productive conversation in person.”
The expo also fostered appreciation and camaraderie. As advice to both first-time and longtime attendees, Rosemarie Fraumeni, CPP, says, “Go to the booths. Let them know you’re here. There’s always somebody new—and a lot to be said for thanking vendors for supporting our profession.”
