Participants showed off their total (payroll) transformation during Wednesday night’s costume contest, where attendees flaunted their fashions to their peers once again in a live venue at Payroll Congress. Winners were chosen in these six categories: Cyber Couture; Golden Age; Payroll Eras; Radiant Icon; Then & Now (Duo); and Synergy Squad (Group).

First-place recipients of this year’s costume contest were the following:

 

Golden Age—Celebrate the Golden Age of Payroll with a costume that’s predominantly gold from head to toe. Winner: Kathy Brubaker, CPP, as "The North Star"

Payroll Eras—Remind us of how far payroll has come with a vintage payroll look. Winner: "Peaky Blinders"

Radiant Icon—It’s payroll’s time to shine with a glamorous costume that glows, glitters, or sparkles. Winner: Jim Bolek, CPP, as "Dan Maddux"

Then & Now (Duo Category)—Partners team up to create a clever pair of costumes that depict the “before and after” of a transformation. Winners: "The Nashville Trio"

Synergy Squad (Group Category)—The gang gets together and coordinates costumes for any of the categories above. Winners: "The Madonna Eras Tour"
