Congress Attendees Shine in Costume Contest
Everyone’s competitive spirit kicked into high gear at Wednesday night’s costume contest, where attendees flaunted their fashions to their peers once again in a live venue at Payroll Congress. Winners were chosen in these categories: Born From the Big Top, Concert Ready Star, Broadway Brought to Life, Screen to Stage, and Iconic Ensemble.
First-place recipients of this year’s costume contest are:
Born From the Big Top—Dress to clown around, run the show as a ringmaster, or wow the crowd as a circus performer.
Winner: Jodi Parsons, "Ring" Master of Payroll Circus
Concert-Ready Star—Dress for an unforgettable performance as a showstopping singer or musician!
Winner: Pegine, If Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson Had Boobs, This Is What It Would Look Like
Broadway Brought to Life—Cast yourself in the role of a lifetime by dressing up as a famous musical character.
Winner: Scott Timberman, The Phantom of the Opera
Screen to Stage—Dress as a classic TV or movie character to bring them to life.
Winner: Kellie Penn, Maleficent
Iconic Ensemble—Get a group together to recreate a famous ensemble from a TV series, popular play, or movie franchise.
Winners: The team from "Dodgeball"—Greenshade Software & Branch
