A longtime director of the American Payroll Association (APA) stepped off the board with an outpouring of gratitude.
Emily Rook, CPP, received the Board of Directors Award during Tuesday’s Opening General Session.

She recently represented the APA for three years on the IRS Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee (IRPAC) where she helped provide a voice for APA members with the IRS.
Rook joined the Board of Directors in 2002 as a Vice President. She was the APA’s President in 2008 and has served on the Board of Directors for 15 years, concluding this morning.
Rook will continue to serve the APA and the payroll profession as an Ambassador.
