10 Honorees Recognized for Meritorious Service at Virtual Congress & Expo
Ten exceptional individuals were honored with Meritorious Service Awards by PayrollOrg for their leadership and outstanding service to the organization. The awards were presented during
the 2023 Virtual Congress & Expo that took place June 21-22.
The details of each recipient’s service to PayrollOrg, both locally and nationally, are listed accordingly.
Martha Baxter is the Director of Payroll at AngMar Medical Holdings in Mansfield, Texas. She joined PayrollOrg in 2016 and has more than 40 years of payroll experience. Her volunteer service includes the Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force (SPLTF), SPLTF Best Practices and Health Care Subcommittees, Social Networking Committee, Board of Advisors, Education Grant Committee, Chapter Recognition Committee, and the Government Relations Task Force (GRTF) Payroll Cards Subcommittee.
Autumn Clemmens, CPP, is the Payroll Manager for Harbor Freight Tools, in Calabasas, California. She has been a PayrollOrg member and a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) since 2016. Her
volunteer experience includes Ask an Expert, SPLTF, SPLTF Best Practices and Retail Best Practices Subcommittees, GRTF Child Support and Other Garnishments and Payroll Cards Subcommittees, and the Certification Item Development Task Force.
De Ann Doonan, CPP, is the Executive Director of Global Payroll at Maxim Integrated Products in Austin, Texas. She has been a PayrollOrg member and a CPP since 2000. Her volunteer
service includes CHAMPS Committee, Education Advisory Committee, National Speakers Bureau, and the SPLTF Best Practices and Emerging Technologies Subcommittees. She has also been a
guest on PayrollOrg’s podcast, “PayTalk.”
Vickie Elder, CPP, is the Director of People Support and Systems at Texas Roadhouse in Louisville, Kentucky. She has been a CPP and a PayrollOrg member since 2007. Her volunteer service includes the Ask an Expert, SPLTF, and the SPLTF Best Practices and Hospitality Industry Subcommittees.
Stephanie Ernsting, CPP, CPA, CMA, is the Director of HR Shared Services at Amcor Flexibles North America in Neenah, Wisconsin. She has been a PayrollOrg member since 2014 and a
CPP since 2016. Her volunteer services include National Speakers Bureau, GRTF Federal Issues Subcommittee, Board of Advisors, Shared Services Task Force, SPLTF Best Practices and Global
Payroll Subcommittees, and the Education Advisory Committee.
Andrew Garboden, CPP, is the Director of Payroll Strategy and Systems at True Blue, Inc. He has been a CPP since 1998 and has more than 35 years of payroll experience. His volunteer service includes National Speakers Bureau, SPLTF, SPLTF Emerging Technologies and Health Care Subcommittees, Board of Contributing Writers, Electronic Payments Committee, Certification Board, Certification Item Development Task Force, and the GRTF Child Support Subcommittee.
Gerard Hall, CPP, is the Senior Payroll Operations Manager at CBIZ in Roanoke, Virginia. He has been a CPP since 2011 and a PayrollOrg member since 2012. His volunteer service includes the GRTF Child Support, Federal Issues, and Garnishments Subcommittees, Shared Services Task Force, Ask an Expert, Social Networking Committee, SPLTF Best Practices Subcommittee, Board of Contributing Writers, and the National Speakers Bureau.
Jeffrey Jacob, CPP, CPA, is the Assistant Comptroller at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He has been a CPP since 2016 and has more than 20 years of payroll experience. His volunteer service includes SPLTF, and the SPLTF Best Practices and Educational Institutions Subcommittees.
Danny Schultz, CPP, is the Senior Manager Payroll Systems and Taxes for Kohler Company in Kohler, Wisconsin. He has been a CPP since 2016 and a PayrollOrg member since 2017. His volunteer service includes National Speakers Bureau, Global Payroll Editorial Advisory Board, and the SPLTF Best Practices, Emerging Technologies, and Manufacturing Best Practices Subcommittees.
Christine Stolpe, CPP, is a Payroll Consultant with Wages Creek in Mesquite, Nevada. She has been a CPP and a PayrollOrg member since 2011. Her volunteer service includes Hotline Referral
Service, National Speakers Bureau, Board of Advisors, SPLTF Best Practices Subcommittee, Social Networking Committee, GRTF, GRTF Retirement Accounts and State and Local Topics Subcommittees, GRTF Unemployment Insurance Workgroup, and the Certification Item Development Task Force.
