Chapter Relations is inviting you (yes, you) to be a guest writer for our blog! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write 200-350 words on important chapter related topics. Because let’s face it, our fabulous chapter members are the experts after all!
You’re probably thinking, “This is my big break, but what do I write about?” Here are a few topics to get those creative juices flowing:
- Statewide or Regional Meeting Information- Share your best advice for getting a sponsor, obtaining a speaker, or selecting and implementing conference themes.
- Study Groups- Tell us your best tried-and-true tips for running a successful study group or the benefits of a study group you’ve experience first-hand!
- Social Media- Enlighten other chapters on how your chapter stays connected online and uses social media to promote chapter activities and involvement in the community.
- Chapter Marketing- Write about promoting a chapter event or promoting the chapter to get new members.
- Chapter Bylaws- Your chapter bylaws should be reviewed annually by incoming chapter officers. Let us know what your process is for updating bylaws and keeping your chapter in compliance.
These are just a few ideas to get your brainstorming session started. To be featured on the Chapter Relations blog, send your post to ChapterRelations@americanpayroll.org. All you have to do is write, and we will take care of the rest. It’s a win/win situation for you, your chapter, and other chapter officers. Let’s help each other be successful!
