The time has come once again for the Annual Chapter Contests! Get ready to showcase your chapter’s innovative changes and earn national recognition.
The Chapter of the Year (COTY) Contest award is awarded to the chapter that has demonstrated growth, philanthropy, innovation, and support of PAYO membership. From the COTY contest entries, four Gavel Awards are also presented. The Gavel Awards recognize specific achievements, activities, or aspects of a chapter's COTY entry in the categories of Innovator, Mentor, Facilitator, and Communicator. A portion of your entry is also used for the Chapter’s Choice contest, as well.
Entries are due by February 9, 2024.

The Chapter Pictorial Contest allows you to showcase your chapter’s creativity through the use of a slideshow presentation filled with your chapter’s photos.
Entries due by March 1, 2024.
The Best Chapter Website Contest recognizes local chapters for their efforts to be innovative and informative while serving their members by using their chapter's website as an educational tool.
Entries due by March 1, 2024.
The Best Statewide or Regional Meeting Contest awards chapters for executing well-planned and cohesive Statewide or Regional meetings.
Entries due by March 1, 2024.

COTY Template
Use the COTY Template to help your chapter get started on the COTY Contest entry and submit by the deadline February 9, 2024, by uploading your entry to the Annual Chapter Contest webpage. If you have any questions, email chapterrelations@payroll.org.
These awards are presented at the Payroll Congress Chapter Exchange Reception and Awards. The 2024 Chapter Exchange will take place on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the 42nd Payroll Congress in Nashville, TN and will be sponsored by rapid!.
