The perfect words to use to this year’s Congress Costume Contest is show stopping! Payroll professionals showed off their rock star status on Thursday, May 18th by dressing up as their favorite musical artist or pop group.
Our first place winners who stole the show in each category were- Best Rock Group & Ultimate Winner- Jem & The Holograms: Laurel Serra, Christine Stolpe, CPP, and Carlanna Livingstone, CPP
The Best Rock Group Winner had an epic Lip Sync Battle with the Vendor Only Best Rock Group and Jem & The Holograms rocked out to beat KISS and was crowned the Ultimate Rock Band Winner.
- Rockstar Legend – Scott Timberman, CPP dressed as his favorite hair band front man Bret Michaels
- Pop Superstar – Debra Laidler, CPP dressed as the Purple Rain singer Prince
- Vendor Only Best Rock Group Winner - KISS: Carol Ford, Liza Paparella, CPP, Allen Gracey, and Edwin Benson from Comdata
Winners received prizes such as blow up guitars, keyboards, saxophones, microphones, and fedoras that also made perfect props and accessories for the Payrollpalooza Party immediately following the contest.
