The Secret Weapon to Help Your Study Groups Blossom

Spring is finally here, and that means your chapter’s study groups are in full bloom.  Don’t worry, the Chapter Relations Department is here to help make it fun and stress-free with the help of the Chapter Study Group Guide.

In this guide you’ll learn valuable information to help make your study group the best it can be, including:

  • Create Fun Study Material - Make learning fun by creating games for your students, such as “Payroll Jeopardy” or “Who Wants to be a CPP?"
  • Take a Pre-Test – Taking a pre-test before the study group begins can help the student assess what areas they may need to focus on over the course of the study group.
  • Assess Student’s Understanding- Create quizzes that will frequently assess your student’s understanding of the concepts throughout the study group sessions so that students are reflecting on what they’ve learned to date.
  • Offer Study Breaks- Allow the students to take a breather to process the information they are learning and recharge.

Let us know in the comments section below some of the techniques that your chapter has found successful during your study groups.
