We appreciate your chapter’s hard work and dedication this past year. PAYO recognizes that without the significant contributions from our affiliated chapters we would not be able to achieve our fundamental goals of engaging, educating, and encouraging payroll professionals.
Guides and Resources
A new year is a symbol of new hope, new beginnings, and endless possibilities. As you look to the future and plan your chapter events for 2024, take a moment to look back at the latest chapter resources available on the “Grow Your Chapter” webpage.
- Board of Advisors – Find the Advisor for your region and their contact information. (You can learn more about your Advisor by reading their Q&A post on the Chapter Leaders Blog.)
- Chapter Marketing Guidelines – Guidelines on appropriate usage of the PAYO logo and chapter promotion of PAYO.
- Chapter Profile Edit Procedures – A step by step walkthrough on updating your chapter profile on the PAYO website.
- Chapter RCH Guide – A guide on applying for RCH approval as a chapter.
- Chapter Study Group Guide – A guide on organizing a successful CPP/FPC study group.
- Local Chapter Guide – A comprehensive guide on starting and maintaining a PAYO Local Chapter with information on chapter bylaws, budgetary and financial concerns, event guidelines, and more. Chapter officers should review key sections of the guide annually.

- National Speakers Bureau Members and Topics – A list of speakers and their topics which can be requested through PAYO’s Speaker Administration Department.
- Request a Local Mailing List – If your chapter would like to send its membership benefits or events to local PAYO members, fill out this form for a one-use mailing list. Chapters may request up to two local mailing lists per year.
Rebranding
For chapters that are still in the process of rebranding, be sure to check out the “Rebrand Your Chapter” webpage. The webpage includes the “Transitioning to PayrollOrg for Chapter Leaders” webinar on demand with PAYO’s Chapter Relations team and chapter leaders Stephanie Ernsting, CPP and Stephanie Ganzer, CPP as guest speakers.
Chapter Zoom License
On October 8, 2021, PAYO began offering PAYO-affiliated chapters a special Zoom license for purchase. The licenses are part of the current guidelines for virtual meetings announced in July 2021. Chapters can use the Zoom license for regular chapter meetings, certification study groups, chapter events (when unable to meet in person), chapter social gatherings, networking sessions, and chapter board meetings. PAYO has secured a discounted rate of $170 for a yearlong subscription to the Zoom Business plan. If you have not already, make sure to renew/ purchase your chapter’s subscription.
Chapter Profile Edit Procedures
Chapters that are still updating their websites, logos, etc., don’t forget to keep your chapter’s information updated on the “Find a Chapter” webpage of the PAYO website! This webpage allows new potential chapter members to learn about your chapter and the location of your chapter. Use the Chapter Profile Edit Procedures for a step-by-step walkthrough on updating your chapter profile on the PAYO website.
