Last week was National Payroll Week and many chapters showed their support by hosting celebrations recognizing payroll professionals across the country. While NPW has ended for 2023 (but, does it ever really end?), there is still time to put together your entries for the 2023 NPW Chapter Contests and submit them to PAYO.
It is easy and fun to participate in the contests. Tell us about your NPW activities and submit your NPW Chapter Contest entries by next Friday, September 22, 2023, for chances to win prizes, including:

- Free registrations for any PAYO seminar or webinar, and
- Free registrations for the 42ndPayroll Congress in Nashville, TN!

Educational Outreach and Community Service Contest
- If your chapter loves volunteering this is the contest for you! PAYO recognizes and awards chapters for the amazing ways in which they give back to their community and provide educational resources to students during National Payroll Week.
- Show off your chapter’s spirit for the payroll profession and National Payroll Week by submitting photos of your chapter’s NPW events for the 2022 Chapter Photo Contest.
- Obtaining media coverage for National Payroll Week is one of the best ways to spread the word and raise awareness of the payroll profession.
- Whether to TV, radio, newspaper, or online media, share your efforts to promote National Payroll Week to your local media and its impact on your events!
- Share your successes in your efforts to reach out to your local government to gain support for National Payroll Week.
Online Survey Promotion Contest
- The Online Survey Promotion Contest recognizes and awards those who raise awareness for the “Getting Paid In America” Survey within their communities and workplaces.
- This contest is open to all PAYO local chapters and PAYO members so don’t hesitate to apply!
National Education Champions Contest
- The region with the most chapter volunteers to teach young adults for Money Matters National Education Day (MMNED) will win this contest.
