What Others Are Saying:
“Chapter leadership summit is a great place to connect with other chapter leaders and a great place to learn what other chapters are doing to keep their chapter growing.”
– Kenneth Klimik, President of the Central Jersey Chapter
The most valuable information that we received at the last CLS event was that we should obtain liability insurance for our meetings and statewide conferences. We discussed with other chapter leaders the benefits and pitfalls of having insurance and as a result we are better armed when presenting to the board our proposal for purchasing this.
– Priti Rughani, CPP, President of the Greater Atlanta Payroll Association and Region 1 Advisor
“Working with our local chapter has been one of the highlights of my payroll career. Like any organization, we strive to improve our chapter to enhance the educational and networking experiences for our members.
The Chapter Leadership Summit has been instrumental in helping our chapter in two distinct areas:
- PayrollOrg provides engaging speakers to present training and materials to assist the chapters in better ways to function properly and provide value to the payroll community.
- Networking with other chapter leaders is invaluable. Taking the time to share with others who are walking the same path, we are able to learn from one another on ways we can better serve our chapters.
I would encourage all chapters to take advantage of the opportunity that CLS offers and provide support for their officers who will commit to attending and learning from their peers.”
– Tim Wallen, CPP, President of the Payroll Professionals of Kentuckiana
*Chapter leaders must complete this application by September 23 to nominate an aspiring (or future) chapter leader. There is no limit to how many aspiring chapter leaders you can nominate. However, they must be a PAYO member. Chapter or Nominee is responsible for all travel-related expenses incurred in conjunction with attending an in-person event. Breakfast and lunch will be included on November 8. See CLS webpage for keynote speakers and the most up-to-date schedule.
**Immediate past chapter leaders do not need to complete an application. Simply register online by September 30.
