During the American Payroll Association’s 37th Annual Congress, we thanked CPPs David Wakeling, Michelle Clawson, and Ginnette Clark for their service on the Board of Advisors as they concluded their two year terms. Now, we welcome four incoming Advisors who will be acting as mentors and representatives for their designated regional chapters, presenting proposals to the Board of Directors, and working together on special projects.
REGION 1 - Carrie Louise Hovell, CPP
Carrie has served as an officer of the Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter for over 10 years, in positions including President, Treasurer, and Statewide Coordinator. She is the Payroll Benefits Manager at Infinitive, Inc and can be reached at carrie_louise_hovell@yahoo.com.
REGION 2 - Jon Schausten, CPP
Jon has served many terms as President and Statewide Coordinator for the Indianapolis Chapter. He is employed as Director of Payroll and HRIS at One America and can be reached at jon.schausten@oneamerica.com.
*Jon Schausten, CPP was also the Region 7 Advisor from 2017-2019. He was appointed as Region 2 Advisor in August 2019 and will serve for the remainder of the two-year term.
REGION 6 - Melinee Cody, CPP
Melinee is currently the Webmaster for the Hampton Roads Chapter and has previously served as the chapter’s Vice President and President. She is the Director of Support & Training at PenSoft and can be reached at mcody@pensoft.com.
REGION 7 - Timothy Cochran, CPP
Tim is Vice President of the Charlotte Chapter and has several years experience coordinating the Carolinas Payroll Conference. He is the Senior HR Analyst of Time Reporting at Duke Energy Corp and can be reached at tim.cochran@duke-energy.com.
