Help Your Chapter Members Become Certified

Picture1-Jun-16-2021-09-41-49-40-PMWith the Fall certification exams approaching in just a few months, now is a great time for your chapter to host CPP and FPC study groups.

Chapter study groups are instructional courses designed to prepare students for the CPP or FPC exams. These study groups range from one day of study, to several weeks, to even several months. Study groups greatly benefit both attendees and hosting chapters, by increasing exam preparedness and attracting new members.

Guidelines Overview

Whether your chapter is new or experienced at hosting study groups, be sure to keep up with APA guidelines as well as newly available resources.

Resources Overview

APA provides the following free materials and support to chapters who register a study group:

  • A one-year subscription to The Payroll Source® Online for a CPP study group coordinator*
  • One Payroll Practice Fundamentals e-book for an FPC study group coordinator*
  • One Knowledge Assessment (if requested)
  • APA Payroll Education and Publications Toolkits (if available)
  • Publicity for the study group on the APA website

*Must have 10 or more study group participants to qualify.
