Hello Region 1 chapter leaders in the states of Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and all other chapter leaders across the country! We want to share with you a little bit more about your Advisor, Priti Rughani, CPP.
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I have been processing and managing payrolls for 25+ years and I am currently the Associate Director of Global Payroll at King & Spalding LLP. Before joining King & Spalding LLP in June 2021, I was the Payroll Manager for Collibra, Inc. and was responsible for the EMEA and North American Payrolls. I implemented various payroll software across USA, EMEA, & APAC regions. I supported all markets and countries and played a key role in the continued development of the compliance policies and strategies. I also built and maintained relationships with key customers, employees, and management, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace. I have been married to my husband Tushar for 30+ years and we enjoy eating out, travelling, and watching movies.
How long have you been involved with PAYO and Local Chapters?
I have been a member of PAYO since 2010 and a member of the Greater Atlanta Payroll Association, Inc. (formerly Atlanta Chapter) since January 2011. I passed my CPP exam in 2012, am currently the Chapter President, and have been Hospitality Chair since September 2011. As the Hospitality Chair, I help with events such as the Georgia Statewide, CPP study groups, and National Payroll Week.
What goal would you like to achieve as a Regional Advisor?
I would like to ensure that I provide as much help and guidance to my region as possible. I want to be a resource that they can depend upon and help them succeed.
What advice would you like to give to the chapters in your region?
The best advice I would give to my region is to ask for help and don’t be afraid to keep asking. We all need a little help to succeed.
How do you use social media to help promote and market the chapters in your region? What handles do you use? What is your handle/profile name?
To communicate with Region 1 chapter leaders on social media frequently, I use the Region 1 LinkedIn group. If you have not already, make sure to join this group to receive frequent updates for Region 1. All chapter leaders may also join PAYO’s Chapter Leaders Facebook group, and subscribe to the Chapter Leaders Blog where I, along with all other BOA, chapter leaders, and PAYO staff, share posts frequently on chapter news and guidance.
How do you plan to interact with chapters in your region?
I plan to have frequent meetings with the region and liaise via email or Zoom calls where possible. I will make myself available by providing my personal email and cell number.
Share below any greetings or questions you may have for Priti!
