The highly anticipated annual Congress Costume Contest is still on for 2020! Any Congress Xstream registrant can participate in the competition from the comfort of their home and be eligible for recognition during APA’s virtual Congress Xstream party! Check out the four categories below and how you can enter:
1 - Explorer Extraordinaire - Prepare for the great unknown with gear to help you discover new frontiers.
2 - Wackiest Camper - Surprise the judges as a wacky camp character with a unique sense of style.
3 - Campground Creature - Use your creativity to become a wilderness animal or a mysterious cryptid heard about in campfire stories.
4 - Campiest Glamper - Roughing it isn’t for everyone! Dress for comfort and ultimate relaxation as a glamping guru.
Contest Rules:
- Participants must be registered for Congress Xstream.
- Participants may submit 1-4 photos, displaying various poses or angles of their costume.
- The photos should not include any added text, graphics, or significant editing.
Contest Entry Instructions:
- Email your photos to ChapterRelations@americanpayroll.org by Tuesday, May 19.
- In the email, include your name and a 1-2 sentence description of your costume and/or character.
- You are strongly encouraged (but not required) to share a photo of your costume on social media with the Congress Xstream event hashtag #PAYCON so others can see your creative outfit!
All costume contest submissions and contest winners will be revealed during the Congress Xstream Party on June 3, 2020.
