With the year coming to a close, it’s time to reflect on the many accomplishments of APA’s local chapters in 2018. Countdown with us as we highlight some of the most exciting stats showcasing chapters’ 2018 accomplishments.
- 136 chapter leaders, representing a total of 66 chapters, attended the Chapter Leadership Summit and received in-depth training on successful chapter management in November.
- Chapters organized an astounding 111 study groups and 14 one-day events.
- Chapter Relations received a total of 45 entries in the Annual Chapter Contests and another 45 entries in the NPW Contests.
- Chapters hosted 25 statewide and regional events, with a combined total of over 2,200 in attendance.
- Last but not least, 2 previously inactive chapters were revived and reaffiliated with APA, giving us a grand total of 122 affiliated chapters.
Chapters across the country have truly proven their excellence in providing payroll education and networking opportunities to local professionals. The APA is so grateful for the chapter leaders who invest in their local payroll communities. We look forward to new growth, new accomplishments, and new chapters in 2019!
