Join two inspiring voices in the payroll community:
Stephanie "Steph" Ernsting, CPP
Senior Director of HR Operations, Amcor
Stephanie Ernsting, CPP is a Sr Director of HR Operations for Amcor. Steph leads the North America Payroll Shared Service Team, HR Service Center, HRIS, Office Services and HR Project Management Team. She has been with Amcor for ten years.
She is a current PayrollOrg Vice President and a former member of the PayrollOrg Board of Advisors. Steph has presented at a number of PayrollOrg events including Chapter Leadership Summit, Payroll Leaders Conference and PayrollOrg Congress and Virtual Congress. Amcor was the recipient of a PayrollOrg Prism Award – Management in 2023.
Steph holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, an MBA from the University of Iowa, and has her Certified Public Accountant, Certified Managerial Accountant and Certified Payroll Professional certifications.
Steph and her husband spend their free time at baseball and football games. Her two sons are very active in both sports. In the offseason, the family likes to travel.
Susan "Sue" Noyes, CPP
Payroll Manager, J. Jill
Susan Noyes, CPP, serves as the Payroll Manager at J.Jill, a leading multi-channel women's clothing retailer. She oversees payroll and expense payments for 3,000 associates across 42 states and has been with J.Jill for 26 years.
Sue has been a member of PayrollOrg since 2006 and currently belongs to the Maine Association of Payroll Professionals. She served on the PayrollOrg Board of Advisors and received the Meritorious Service Award in 2025. Sue participates in several PayrollOrg committees, including Ask an Expert, CHAMPS, Nominating and Elections, Social Networking, Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force for Retail and Best Practices, and Government Relations Task Force for Child Support and Garnishments. Sue is also the Co-Chair, Webmaster and Mobile App administrator for the New England Payroll Conference.
Sue is a graduate of Keene State College, with a degree in Computer Science and has Certified Payroll Professional and Workday Pro Payroll certifications.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping, off-roading in her Jeep, and spending time with her husband Dan and their black lab, Lexi.
