Did you know? You can get rewarded for your NPW celebrations and activities by submitting entries in one of the 2023 NPW Chapter Contests! Below are the contests that both chapters and individuals can enter.
Contests Just for Chapters
Spread NPW brand awareness by purchasing and using NPW merchandise when you’re out and about. Your chapter will earn a credit for every dollar spent in the online NPW store. Simply select your chapter’s name from the drop-down menu during checkout. The chapter that earns the most credits wins first place.

Say cheese! Capture your chapter’s NPW celebrations in photos to enter this contest. Submit the three best NPW-related photos that display the “We just got paid” theme, artwork, or logo for a shot at first place.

Educational Outreach and Community Service
Serve your community while promoting NPW. This contest recognizes the efforts of chapters that go above and beyond in their community outreach projects.

Ask officials in your city, county, or state for a government proclamation to recognize NPW. Once you have all your proclamations, share the information with the Chapter Relations department. For more information on requesting proclamations, visit the NPW website.

Make everyone aware of NPW by helping it make headlines in your local media. Reach out to local newspapers, television shows, radio programs, bloggers, and more to share the importance of the NPW mission with the masses.

The region with the most chapter volunteers to teach young adults for Money Matters National Education Day (MMNED) will win this contest.

Contests for Individuals, Groups
Showcase your NPW accomplishments by entering the Individual Activity Contest. This entry can include any combination of categories including: Educational Outreach and Community Service, Local Media Outreach, and Local Government Outreach.

Contests for Everyone
This contest is designed to recognize the efforts for promoting the 2023 “Getting Paid In America” survey. Both individuals and chapters are eligible to participate in this contest. Entries that display the most original and effective outreach will win.

Helpful Tips
When completing your NPW contest entries, make sure to:
- Answer all the questions on the respective contest fliers found at http://www.nationalpayrollweek.com/chapter-contests in full detail and in the same order they appear on the flyer.
- Include plenty of pictures of your activities in every entry you submit to the Chapter Relations Department (photos are worth a thousand words!)
- Enter as many categories as you can to increase your odds of winning great prizes, including a registration to the 2024 Payroll Congress in Nashville, TN!
Chapter Memo:
All chapters must submit attendee lists for study groups, one-day events, multi-day educational seminars, and statewide/regional meetings within 30 days after the event to chapterrelations@payroll.org in Excel format.
