Today the first-ever Congress Xstream officially kicked off! The unique virtual conference, presented by the American Payroll Association and Global Payroll Management Institute, brings you four days of nonstop payroll education, networking, and more!
As you explore the virtual environment and plan your schedule for the week, be sure to keep in mind the following chapter highlights:
1) Chapter Pictorials
The pictorial presentations submitted for the Chapter Pictorial Contest are on display in the Resource Center, located under the Resources tab. Go check them out to see photos from chapter events and activities held throughout 2019!
2) Chapter Chat
There are plenty of opportunities to network at Congress Xstream! Visit the Chapter Chat under the “Lounges” tab and “Networking Lounge” secondary tab to introduce yourself and connect with other chapter leaders throughout the conference.
3) Chapter Exchange
The Chapter Exchange will be held on June 2 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. ET. Add the event to your schedule and attend to discover the winners of this year’s Annual Chapter Awardss, participate in a chapter networking discussion, and enter to win three big prizes from session sponsor, Wisely Pay by ADP! The Chapter Exchange can be accessed by clicking on the “Theaters” tab, followed by the “Special Sessions” secondary tab.
During the Chapter Exchange, we will discuss the following questions:
- What educational topics have been the most popular with your members and why?
- What are some cost-saving tips you have learned as a chapter leader?
- What are some effective exercises to promote teamwork on the chapter board?
- How have you improved your chapter’s marketing strategies?
- What new leadership position or committee would you consider implementing in your chapter and why?
- What software or online tools would you recommend to other chapter leaders?
- What are your successful strategies for organizing CPP and FPC study groups?
